This Privacy Policy explains how tldrstocks (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the tldrstocks iOS app (“the App”). It currently applies to the App only. If we launch a website or other platform that collects personal data, we will update this policy to reflect that.

At sign-up:

• Email address

• Name

Through your use of the App:

• Watchlist selections and tracked tickers

• Friendly bet activity, including bets placed, outcomes, and points earned

• Friend connections and social activity within the App

• Push notification preferences and delivery data

• Device information, app diagnostics, and usage analytics (e.g., crash reports, feature usage) — collected via third-party tools once implemented (see Section 4)

We do not collect financial account numbers, brokerage credentials, or payment card information, as tldrstocks does not execute trades or process investments.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account

• Provide core App features (watchlists, AI-generated summaries, Market Conditions signals, friend and bet features)

• Send push notifications you’ve opted into (news, earnings events, price movements, social activity)

• Monitor, maintain, and improve App performance and reliability

• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service

• Communicate with you about your account or the App

4. Third-Party Services

We plan to use third-party analytics and crash-reporting tools (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, or Sentry) to help us understand app performance and usage. These providers may collect device identifiers, usage data, and diagnostic information on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies.

We also rely on third-party data providers (such as SEC EDGAR and Finnhub) to supply market data, filings, and news. These integrations involve requests to fetch public market data — they do not involve sharing your personal account information with those providers.

We do not currently sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. This may change in the future. If it does, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, provide notice and any applicable opt-out mechanism before doing so.

5. Data Sharing With Other Users

Certain information is visible to other users as part of the App’s social features, including:

• Your name and profile information

• Your friend connections

• Your bet activity and outcomes with friends

Your watchlist is private unless you choose to share it. We do not display your email address or phone number to other users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App’s services. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. This can include rights under state privacy laws (such as those in California, Virginia, Colorado, and other states) if you reside there, regardless of where tldrstocks is based.

You can also:

• Disable push notifications at any time in your device settings

• Delete your account from within the App or by contacting us

8. Children’s Privacy

tldrstocks is intended for users 18 and older, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we’ve collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
